About us

  • Child smiling and having fun playing Rasoi Hunt. Magnetic titles of Indian food ingredients are food dishes are scattered.
  • In Hindi, the word "Seekh" means to learn. Thus, Play N Seekh translates to Play N Learn. Our vision is to bring fun games for all ages, and to help people learn and stay connected to the Indian and South Asian culture. Through our games, we hope people will spread joy, build friendships and stronger family bonds.

  • Before Play N Seekh was born we struggled to get kids in our family to speak Hindi and Gujrati. We created various activities and homemade games to get kids excited about speaking our native languages. One game that created the most excitement for the kids and got them using basic Hindi words in daily conversation was about cooking in the kitchen. Today, that game is called Rasoi Hunt!

We have observed many families struggle to pass on their native roots to their kids when living in foreign countries. Parents and family members have to make a conscious effort to teach their native languages and culture. We founded Play N Seekh to help introduce Indian and South Asian cultures through playtime. Our goal is to make it fun and easier for families to raise kids that are connected to their native culture, be multilingual, be multicultural, and have strong social and family bonds.

  • Hi everyone! I am Sonu. Some of my favorite childhood memories have been of playing games with my friends, siblings and family members. I feel games are a great way to pass time, learn, develop skills and build social bonds. Through games, I want to help all ages not only create fun memories but also help them learn and stay connected to their native culture.
